StampAPDF started with a simple everyday problem: needing to put a signature or company stamp on a PDF without installing software, creating an account, or uploading a private contract to someone else's server.

Modern browsers have enough power to do this work. StampAPDF opens, edits, and saves your files on your device. We never see them.

The site is free to use with no page limits or trials, supported by advertising. If a tool saves you time, that's the whole point.

Alongside the tools we publish practical how-to guides for the jobs people search for most — signing without printing, merging application packs, extracting the pages a bank asked for, watermarking drafts, and choosing PDF sites that do not require an upload. Guides are written to be useful even if you eventually use another product; the instructions still have to match what our tools actually do.

Who the site is for

Freelancers stamping invoices, students assembling application PDFs, small offices fixing sideways scans, and anyone who needs a quick merge or split without installing desktop software. It is not aimed at print-shop prepress, full accessibility remediation, or qualified electronic-signature compliance packages — those need specialist software, and we say so in the guides rather than overselling a browser tool.

How the tools are built

The browser downloads the application code, then opens and modifies the file in local memory. Your browser combines, extracts, rotates, numbers, watermarks, or renders PDF pages without a document upload endpoint. You can verify the approach: load a tool, switch off your internet connection, and continue working with a file already selected.

Stamp & Sign has one exception. An image you choose to add to the reusable stamp library is stored so it is available on a later visit. PDF documents are never stored. You can remove a saved stamp image from the library at any time; the details are in the privacy policy.

How we write and test our guides

We base each guide on a task you can complete with the tools on this site. We check each instruction against the live controls and include the practical details that often cause mistakes: page order, printed versus physical page numbers, image transparency, output quality, and the effect of editing on certificate-based digital signatures.

We distinguish visual signature images from cryptographic digital signatures and avoid presenting general information as legal advice. If a recipient, regulator, court, or government portal specifies a signing or document format, its requirements should take priority over any general guide on StampAPDF.
